27 Ottobre. Anche questo ennesimo viaggio berlinese giunge al termin e e quanto da vedere ancora! Meglio così: si torna sempre volentieri nei luoghi dove abbiamo an cora tanto da vedere.
28 Ottobre. Il viaggio in treno da Berlino a Milano è un’esperienza alla quale penso che non rinuncerò facilmente. A parte il fascino del treno in sè, insuperabile, ripercorre a lungo il paesaggio svizzero è qualcosa che mi riporta all’adolescenza, ai primi espatrii che per me non lo erano perché nel paese dove erano nati mio nonno e mio padre, ogni famiglia aveva emigrato in svizzera e Lugano era stata la mia prima grande città, prima ancora che Milano. Poi la sosta a Basilea, rapida all’andata e più lunga al ritorno, poi il lungo monotono paesaggio tdesco che tuttavi aconclia ocn la lettura e la riflessione, aumentando così il piacere del lento avvicinarsi alla meta. Uno spettacolo a parte poi, sono le donne svizzere di una certa età specialmente. Hanno un modo di fare, un’autonomia che le rende diverse: ho riscontrato qualcosa di simile sono nello sguardo e nel portamento di certe religiose; I have not yet figured out what it is, here is a good subject of study for the next trip.
