Agenda writer novel. Chapter thirty
CHAPTER Thirty-fifth.
Around nine o'clock in the morning when Chantal leaves home to go to the meeting with the historian and the Chapman. It is too early because they must meet at ten, but Chantal could no longer stay home, worried the whole thing and even the previous day's interview with Chapman, who did not raise it. Starla's sudden decision to close and even the odd request to know the first thing he thought of her, after taking it as a concern for him, she had appeared increasingly a false note.
The bag with all the documentation has carefully prepared the night before, reviewing tens times all the way in time of its deductions. Does this seem slim even if they think at all hours and nights dedicated to figure it out. Sale car and puts it on the seat next to the player, then start slowly. The morning is cool but not cold, the pale sun. There are not many cars on the road, who was commuting to work has already arrived, the other s move that should please atend still half an hour to do so, the traffic rules are strict, given the still limited space. Chantal runs in a hurry to walk ten kilometers separate it from the location of the appointment, ending the last traffic light, look in the rearview mirror for their hair ...
Passa davanti alla palazzina dove si svolgerà l’incontro and continues, the car is always behind you, turn left towards the lake and accelerates gently, the car behind her losing ground and when svlta left again to return to the place of the meeting continued on the other lakefront. Chantal sighs, then smiles to herself and her fears, and continue straight and take the vìbreve leading to the building, Chapman sees walking on maricpiede: ocn uncolpo of clacso greets her and invites her to go.
"lacks a little but I get happy ..."
Parking: the historian, Dmitri Smirnov, experience in population genetics and population flows is already there on the spot. It slautano quickly and enter, but the view of this man something to remember Chantal, but fails to focus on what cirsotanza have already seen.
"Dr. Chantal is to see you again, reminds me of evenings meeting ..."
She frowns, then finally his memory is released.
"Of course, two years ago! ... But she did not deal with demographic problems then! "
" Yes, only for population genetics, but then I found out ... I found interesting things in this area. "
" We are already in the topic? "Chapman spoke peremptorily.
Smirnov remains forbidden for a moment, then throws un'chciata to both.
"Yes ... You can say this ... "
taking a corridor that leads into an inner room soundproofed.
"I preferred to meet you here ... we are safer" and say it targeted a puzzled look at Chapman, who does not bat an eyelid.
Chantal feels the anxiety of new mount in the body. The room appears to be shrouded nell'ovatta, Smirnov off any electrical function connected with the outside world and puts the device that blocks attempts to telepathic connection. Chantal does not understand the reason, but does not want to raise the issue at the moment.
"It may seem excessive. But it's better ... "Chantal
resumes again from his fears.
Doctor Smirnov, thank you for accepting my request. I understand that the procedure is not the best, but I understand where both of them this was the answer that we all fear ... "says Chantal, addressing in particular, those words that relaxes and opens the bag. The sense of unease, however, has not entirely abandoned, and this makes the nervous because she will have to talk first. Everything seems confused in his head.
"I left a couple of minutes to sort the ideas?"
Both agree, smiling.
"A coffee can help?" Smirnov's voice, warm and inviting contruscie a bit 'relax the tense atmosphere and heavy man fumbles already close to the fire, while the Chapman lit a cigarette. Chantal away quickly with his head and then plunges through the papers. When Smirnov
back to the table with the tray and three cups of coffee she is ready and refreshed.
Without much preamble and a new authoritative voice of Chantal Devis retraces the entire sequence of data in its possession that you have generated a growing alarm, formulating and discarding all assumptions which in turn has made epr give a definitive answer to problem. The other two followed closely without touching; Smirnov just moves his head a few times in assent. Chantal When he finished, there is a long moment of silence.

Asbestos: new draft law in Lombardy
More controls and incentives
Oggi in Lombardia non è possibile alcun conferimento di amianto in discarica, perché gli unici due siti autorizzati in provincia di Brescia, sono attualmente non operativi In materia di bonifica dell'amianto the Environment Committee of the Regional Council is working on a bill that aims to modify and update the law on asbestos remediation approved in 2003.
The rapporteur Claudio Bottari, Northern League, said the key points of the measure will provide increased incentives, awareness raising, training and identification of sites where to allocate asbestos. This is in addition considering the introduction of incentives effective in helping people to dispose of asbestos from homes and warehouses of their property, especially given the high cost of disposal entirely dependent on them. .

Aggiungo qualcosa dopo avere ascoltato The Tg of this morning. It is said that three signs have a try, but maybe in politics it takes two. In a windy situation of armed intervention of the European Tg yesterday, this morning alongside an official declaration of the British Prime Minister Cameroon. The London-Washington axis hypothesis now sure armed intervention, and the news coming from Libya are pushing me to reformulate the questions at the end of my speech, in some very precise questions.
1) How can the rebels be able within a few days to conquer large parts of territory (Cyrenaica)? The Vietnamese resistance, beyond the revolutionary mythology, could win because they were supplied with weapons the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China, that the distance between their arms and those in the U.S. was at least much shortened.
2) You can conquer territory only if the rebels have more or less the same weapons the government and this means that the current one in Libya is not a popular uprising but a rift inside the Libyan regime, with parts of the army that fight and then they do not as a guarantor as happened in Egypt.
3) It is hard to believe that these sectors have moved without some assurance that comes from outside of Libya.
4) The possibility of intervention of the Atlantic Alliance (there is an army of European defense policy) return the control of Libyan oil in the hands of the U.S. and Britain and download the social costs of migration on European and Mediterranean countries in particular on.
5) The mass graves and 10,000 deaths. Where am I? From the pictures you see on TV and even on the Internet you do not understand.
6) We remember the famous weapons of mass destruction to Saddam Hussein? We remember the cormorant covered with oil in the Persian Gulf that did so much crying ecologists our own more ready to be moved by birds rather than the dead humans and that was nothing but a cormorant off the coast of Scotland polluted by an oil tanker leaks ? We remember the cradle burned by Iraqi soldiers in Kuwait that was nothing but a service artistically prepared by a news agency in order to arouse public outrage and Western Europe?
7) What's really going on in Libya?

Valerio Natalizia ha dichiarato che il mercato fotovoltaico italiano continuerà a crescere in modo sostenibile anche negli anni futuri, contribuendo alla ripresa economica del nostro country, making it more independent from energy imports, increasing the number of employees throughout the supply chain and leading to a balance between costs and benefits for the country system. GIFI-ANIE asked the institutions to ensure adequate support for the PV industry and increased national energy security. .

GIFI-ANIE asked the institutions to ensure adequate support for the PV industry and increased national energy security. .

Pier Paolo Pasolini: excerpt from Ali blue eyes. (1965)
"It is not that of communism. And, now, you can call it "phantom of democracy." It 'a revolt by the end Empire. And 'one of the symptoms of global crisis on the planet, which is gradually replacing, and will replace in a few years, all the adoring hagiographies of imperial globalization. "
So Giulietto Church begins his article by reflections on the events of recent days involving Arab North Africa, published on Megachip. I find this concise statement of all shared and it would like to leave for a broader debate, which I state, however, the gratitude that I would personally pay tribute to the courage of those who fight today, even for me, the streets of Tunis, Cairo, Tripoli , Benghazi and hopefully soon also in Rabat, Casablanca and Damascus. Even for me, because these mass uprisings, but probably destined to defeat the most genuine of their dreams, are the only serious seeding for some years now, the portion of the world we inhabit. Other portions, such as Latin America, are already on their way to the good seed, but they are far away.
Having said that, not only necessary but also indispensable for me, I would like to propose some themes for reflection and analysis of what is happening.
I really like historical analogies, and I will use them, taking for granted that the analogy should be taken cum grano salis.
What happens in North Africa today reminds me, narrowing the field of politics, the years 1848-49 in Europe.
Even then a general uprising, diverse in purpose and aims, the magma and therefore chaotic crisis began in the political structures established at the Congress of Vienna in 1815, following the defeat of Napoleon. The political leadership of these movements, uncertain how much more generous and often unrealistic would not allow those movements to win immediately, and within a couple of years, the old ruling class returned to power, but they returned for the last time.
It is very likely to happen the same thing today: the political breakthrough in the North African popular struggles in the Arab world show a great revolutionary fervor but a poverty of political horizons of change, che non lascia molto sperare nel breve periodo: perciò non credo all’enfasi con cui Samir Amin, parla di un possibile “rinascimento arabo”.
Tornando invece a Giulietto Chiesa, egli afferma the ongoing struggles to deal a mortal blow "hagiographies of imperial globalization."
Nothing will ever be born and stance after the fall of the Berlin Wall is put aside in this part of the world and will be very important reflections on 'Europe as a whole, putting even more crises in the already almost non-existent units.
Basically went even so in full 800. Before the Carbonari sought to diminish the framework established in 1815, having only to do some damage here and there, but by a generation that would last over time, the fire smoldering under the ashes in 1830, France was the first blaze, too limited but also important because it strengthened the generation that had survived the breakup of the Carbonari, leading to both a second in the heat of battle, and finally the years 48-49.
If you look back over the history of movements and the attempts of resistance to neoliberal globalization (with its ideological and equipments that Fukuyama's end of history, the Chicago school of economics of Milton Friedman, TINA, etc.. Etc..) 1 scenarios are very similar.
Zapatista insurrection in Chiapas, the Madrid conference the circle of people (both 1994), then the intercontinental meetings, the rediscovery of strategic indigenous issue in the American continent, have created some of the conditions have changed la situazione bloccata dell’America latina. Oggi un evento che sembra lontano da noi ha ripercussioni immediate even here, the closed system is the planet in its full extension. If ever the question is another: why the "forty-eight" broke out right there? He could break out anywhere else? Again the answer is not possible and it is true that no one had expected. If you are alarmed to read the forecast of this dangerous revolutionary organization is the International Monetary Fund, says since the beginning of 2008, the increase in food commodity prices would generate popular uprisings in many countries. These figures I have given myself in my paper recently published on the website of the Community & Communism. Among the countries that were at risk specified by the presiding of the Fund were: Egypt, Tunisia, Bangladesh (where the riots have erupted in fact) and some states in central Africa! Where is the surprise?
That said, however, it is clear that in popular revolts in the course is not the only component of hunger, the desperate social conditions, even though they play a major role. The policies of the IMF and World Bank have impoverished the people of the southern hemisphere but not all the same: Libya, for example, is not under the same conditions of poverty in Egypt. Reading the analysis of these days and following the very site of the Church and others, I think there are three main components:
1) the social question cited above.
2) The attempt of the Imperial to anticipate the collapse of some schemes decoctions.
3) The distress of a generation of young people without work and without any prospect or at least educated and cultured but then with more and more marked critical.
4) The Islamic organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and its allies.
5) The amplification generated by the media fast, first as a television and Aljazira al-Arab, more than the usual Internet and mobile phones.
It is difficult now to take such arrangements in the short term (between now and the end of the year when elections are Egyptian) this uprising, also because it is unclear what will happen in Libya, but perhaps this will suffice for a few days, while it will take longer to see if the geographical area of these upheavals is set to expand or not. Some partial deductions, however, can begin to draw.
1) The non-Islamic organizations are spearheading the movement for the first time in twenty or thirty years. Which are among the most organized political forces, and therefore capable of policy responses more than others is true, but the movement now and have not been promoted. In Tunisia this is especially evident, since it seems that there really nobody knows what to do: the void non è stato riempito.
Come reagirà l’Europa alla questione Libya is now central? The absence of any semblance of politics and fear could be a very dangerous melange, partly because the risks are very serious. Europe can withstand the combined effect of the energy supply problems and rising oil prices rebound on companies most exposed (not only Italian), migratory patterns?
Second question. The clashes in Libya, where insurgents also appear to have their heavy weapons, enough to control all of the important parts of the territory, suggests a clash inside the regime and a civil war. So the question whether the rebels have the banks out of Libya is not farfetched. A news on nonchalantly from Tg1 thirteen is that in Europe we are discussing the possibility of armed intervention course 'humanitarian'. So that is a hoax because there is no autonomous European military structures of NATO, nor a common European defense. This means the U.S. will necessarily be involved and this would enable them to get their hands on Libyan oil, strategically important for Europe and the control of which had hitherto largely excluded. If so it would be quite clear that between the riots in Tunisia and Egypt and what is happening in Libya, the differences are abysmal. If so, Europeans would be called upon to bear also economically a war (anything but humanitarian shipments), which would call into U.S. hands control of Libyan oil and download only the European countries the cost of a mass migration. Also endure this or we'll wake up at least a little '?

'O land of sword or so has been called one of the most interesting of the Vesuvian interior, where the processing of dried cod and cod is one of the leading economic activity. Both the center and the surrounding area keep the look of the past. The Casamale is the oldest part, still surrounded by walls aragonesi.
Besides a good selection of meats, including poultry, are simple dishes such as tomato sauce and trippicelle 'ndruglietielli with potatoes (the entrails of the lamb intestines) and, of course, dishes of salt cod and dried cod. Try the tasting plate (codfish salad, fried cod, grilled and in soup), the balls of salt cod or fried cod with bread and potatoes. To finish desserts well made.
The wine list, despite a number of labels could be further enriched. As a match for the pizza (dinner only) suggest, however, to choose the Charter of the Trappist beers.

Anastasia has fertile land and fresh air, a feature that makes it a renowned agricultural center in the Vesuvius National Park on the northern slopes of the volcano. In the historical center is located 'and Curt (the courts), whose name derives from the founders Louis and Antonio Ceriello, which, after having turned the peninsula as presenters of circus shows, decided to take over the inn uncle. Thus began a great culinary adventure - now continued by his granddaughter Angela and her husband, Carmine D'Alessandro - the rediscovery of the dishes of Neapolitan cuisine.
With a quiet start from fried foods (fried zucchini flowers, seaweed and fried potatoes), the eggplant rolls with cherry tomatoes piennolo from squid stuffed with mozzarella and pecorino, from cuttlefish with peas, other dishes sea variables according to the market (octopus, squid, clams, taratufi, mussels). Among the first dominate the traditional dishes like pasta and beans, pasta and chickpeas, paccheri with lamb sauce and, in winter, the fat Pignato the classic soup married. As second counselor in the lamb: the lamb with peas, rolls of gut ('ntruglietielli) in the oven, the chops on the grill. There is also the sauce, tripe, and the sword in wet winter, the fried cod, often the preparations of fish. Among the contours friarielli, endives and mushrooms collected in the vicinity of Poplar. Finally pastries with nuts, cheesecake, pastiera, pizza cream.
The wine list has some good regional label in addition to their wine production. It closes with the nucillo produced and marketed by the son of the owner, Enzo d'Alessandro, according to a secret recipe.

Flegrei I have a unique natural beauty: the room, in fact, is located on a promontory from which enjoy views of Lake Averno - here Virgil places the descent into hell - and Lucrino, Cuma Fusaro and in the distance, the island of Ischia. Arranged on two floors, the rooms are warm and welcoming in summer there is a large terrace.
The quality of products and dishes (do not be surprised, though: even though we are close to the sea are the meat to prevail) is guaranteed by the genuine passion that drives Nando in the selection, there are many dishes of family, well related to the territory. As appetizers we point out the ricotta and salami Montella Campania, cabbage with sausage and chestnuts, shredded eggplant, sausage and the panpatata friarielli, the cat with potato rosemary sauce, the zucchini flan with pepper sauce, parmigiana zucchini or potatoes with escarole, sausage and provolone, baked mussels. Among the former, paccheri pork sauce, pasta with walnut cream with cherry tomatoes and slivers of piennolo Provolone del Monaco, with eggplant or zucchini, ziti, gnocchi alla Genovese with cod, tomatoes and basil. Afterwards, pork chops with papaccelle, fillets and steaks selected breeds, such as the Podolia and the Marches. Finally chocolate flan, panna cotta with strawberry and chocolate Capri. Satisfactory
selection of wines (many of them offered by the glass) and spirits. Please note that the upper hall has a small cellar where in sight, booking, you can dine.

Beyond the pizzeria snack bar area ( excellent) and climbed a few steps, you will be in a different space where you will be greeted by Alexander, son of the owner Lucio Russo. The menu changes every two weeks and is related to season and supply the local market, with particular emphasis on fish and vegetables.
some changes introduced by the chef Gennaro Esposito relieves the dishes, though respectful of the Neapolitan tradition and major holidays. As a starter you will find the salad cuttlefish and zucchini, anchovies and golden fries, grilled riavulillo arolese, caponata Naples. Orientatevi then the lasagne shrimp and artichokes, from Gragnano on to Sorrento, on linguine with squid blacks Campanella, the squid seafood. In winter there are soups, soups and mushrooms. In the second choice of fish (cooked in all possible ways: grilled, all'acquapazza, baked, stewed, salt, fried) it relies on the generosity of the sea. Preferable oily fish, as well as the goodness also for not pushing up the bill too. For those who do not like fish there is any proposal for meat. Good selection of cheeses from even from other regions - but on these is the Provolone del Monaco - and cured meats in the area. Talk Neapolitan cakes and pastries, with baba, Capri, delicious, fruit tarts in the summer and a warm apple pie annurche in winter.
wine list more than adequate. It is advisable to book at the weekend.

The place was once an exercise glass, where along with a glass of wine you could enjoy a delicious pasta and beans with pork rind. We are in Pignasecca, the most picturesque square in Naples, where he sells everything and, in particular, food in the area, from bread to tarallucci lard and pepper, from vegetables to fish from the Gulf and, again, cooked meats, cheese, dairy and cheese. In one of the alleys that branch off from here stands the Old Cellar - two rooms are simply furnished - where John and Mary, his mother Nunzia, welcome the guests with kindness. The rules of daily shopping Pignasecca are made to the seasonality and freshness.
report, including appetizers, marinated anchovies, the sciurilli (fiori di zucca) ripieni, le paste cresciute, i panzerotti, e molti altri stuzzichini.

In the sixteenth century, thanks to the Viceroy Pedro da Toledo, Naples enjoyed a phase of development characterized by economic growth and large buildings. Via Toledo it was the heart and, even today, this route, almost entirely reserved for pedestrians, is an area of great historical sites and shopping. The Hosteria Toledo, faithful interpreter of Neapolitan cuisine, is located here, quasi di fronte alla storica sede del Banco di Napoli.
Regarding the latter it ranges from seafood to meat. The first is cooked in various ways, from octopus salad or casserole to the Sicilian salt cod, the frying of fish grilled squid. As for meat, there are chops, meat sauce or the filet. Boundary, parmesan, zucchini at scapece, fried peppers, grilled vegetables. The desserts are classic baba, caprese and pastiera.
Good wine list, in which there is significant presence of Ischia products as well as other national labels and a few bells.

He will welcome you and to explain the proposals every day, all representative of the area. It begins with
buns stuffed with sausage, and escarole friarielli cake Naples, Crocco potato, pumpkin flowers in batter, a delicious mozzarella and sautéed clams. Continue through the first dry soups that remind: tubettoni with seafood, linguine with lobster, pasta and potatoes with provolone, ziti alla Genovese to taste, bean soup and escarole soup, peas and beans maruzzara sumptuous; married during the winter soup is a must. It continues with the proposals of fish, with the blue fish in full view: fried anchovies or padded octopus luciana and, depending on availability, frying of fish. If you do not like fish, you can still "fall back" on a frock or a tasty soup with meat. No shortage of seasonal vegetables cooked with more positive outcomes: eggplant parmigiana, stuffed peppers, cianfotta. And, if you choose the pizza will not disappoint.
The desserts are homemade, just like the baba and zeppoline. The wine list is extensive, with all the bell and the best production of that country.

The inn is Alfonso Gallotti located in one of the busiest streets of the old town and, like the dishes on the menu clearly expresses an authentic local cuisine, with daily variations that follow the seasons - and, partly, the inspiration of the chef - and attention in the search for raw materials.
It begins with slices of toast with marinated fish, fried sciurilli stuffed with ricotta, fried polenta, olive paste its product, ham and mozzarella. The beans are one of the maruzzara classic dishes of the restaurant, but alternatively you can choose to scammaro or noodles with artichokes, paccheri the Two Sicilies (topped with eggplant pesto) or with a sauce of anchovies, tomatoes, pine nuts, raisins and sheep, the interesting velvety chickpea and cuttlefish served in pignatiello. But the first series is not over yet. Other classics are the mezzanielli pasta with Genovese sauce, or even piennolo cherry tomatoes, garlic, basil and chili, soups tradition of Neapolitan pasta and vegetables with provolone ol'ottima pasta and potatoes. As to the latter, can not go wrong ordering the cod or codfish in casserole, fried or in salads, depending on availability you may also enjoy fried anchovies, cuttlefish or squid stuffed with fish and sauce portion. Wanting to go on the meat, there are meatballs with Marsala and mushrooms, sausage 'mbuttunato, sweet and sour pork loin grilled and roasted mixed. Before
of sweets - baba, pastiera, Capri - will be served a fresh basil sorbet. In the wine cellar there are many emerging areas of Campania, with a good balance between quality and price.

Located in a beautiful early twentieth century, in a side of the central Via Crispi, Vadinchenia is on two floors, with the lower hall is also used as a wine bar, obtained from the courtyard of the palace paved with volcanic rock and patrician. In this pleasant setting Xavier Petrocelli and his wife Silvana offering traditional dishes, not without, however, from some notes of moderate innovation. Among the proposals will also be easy to identify elements from Lucan, in honor of the origins of Xavier. The cod
è presente a tutto menù, variamente cucinato: mousse, marinato, in pastella, in cassuola. Le carni, invece, comprendono The tracks (cost) of pork meat sauce or fillet of beef offered in various ways. Among the cheeses, along with the excellent selection of Xavier, stands out the buffalo. Cakes and desserts are also available.
The winery has about 200 regional and national, with some proposed foreign (France, Chile, Australia).
