Legend Miseno was chief burial place of the trumpeter of Aeneas, while history speaks of it as a resort of the nobles of the imperial age and place here the signing of the treaty between Octavian, Antony and Pompey, in 39 BC, as well as that of Pliny the Elder, as master of the Roman fleet. In a place so rich in character in some ways time has stood still, and to increase the value a stop could be a Fefè dinner, the restaurant Bruno Esposito. The restaurant overlooks the sea - which is appreciated especially in hot weather, dined on the terrace - and decorated with sobriety.
will be welcomed by Bruno, Valeria and Helium, which will offer a menu played on products of the gardens surrounding the fish. We start with the antipasto misto of the house, the flag ol'insalata scapece fish, octopus, followed by the fettuccine to Fefè (homemade and topped with mussels and zucchini) or with seafood, pasta, potatoes and calamari, rigatoni alla genovese octopus or, rather, polpessa and, again, the spaghetti with anchovies and risotto fisherman. Even the latter are related supply fish of the day: frying of fish, soup or peppered mussels (washed down from the juice of lemons Flegrei Falanghina and local), fried anchovies, squid, cuttlefish. A tip is a must: bluefish inside if you want to avoid pushing up the bill.
Everything will be accompanied by a more than appreciable Falanghina, but can also guide you on some prestigious label bell.
